He's always been "legit" in the eyes of the critics.

He is the best actor alive today who is not named Daniel Day Lewis.

Spotlight? The Big Short should have won.

Of course the Oscars don't award the "movie everybody wants to see." That would just be decided by the movie that makes the most money.

I guess Star Wars should have won this year, huh?
Of course God forbid a good movie actually wins. They choose the over bloated, agenda filled and over exaggerating hit piece on the Catholic Church.

Now maybe they can do a movie on all the good the church does in the world? Don't hold your breath.

He's average, he just has been given more opportunities than other better actors.

Watching the GMA morons fawn over the ceremony and actors is as sickening as the ceremony itself. Goodness! They sure do think they amount to a hill of beans, which, in the overall scheme of things, they don't.

Thank goodness we only have to put up with this garbage once a year.

Worst Oscars EVER!

We get it. You feel about no black acting nominees. Not entertaining at all.

Have you seen his movies??
Should have won for "Wolf of Wall Street"--not for drama parts but the scene on country club steps when the muscle-relaxing drugs are taking over was best physical comedy since Harold Lloyd...
Excellent in "The Departed" as well...
Sometimes the scripts are not the best or the overall direction, but Leo never brings less than HIS best...

Long overdue IMO

When was the last time you saw a bad Leo DiCaprio movie? I know it is subjective, but for me he is one of the few actors that can be trusted to pick great roles in great movies. Since he attained a level of stardom with Titanic that he could pick and choose his roles, he is batting a thousand if you ask me. I know if he is in a movie, it is going to be great.

And that would be???
Continuing to accept and hide pedophile priests from prosecution...
continuing to use money to glorify the Church and its hierarchy vs helping the people who support it...
Continuing to espouse the dominance of males in the Church...
Continuing to deny women's rights in issues like control over their bodies....

The Church has enough money--it can back its own self-aggrandizing films...

We actually found several of the commercials to be quite enjoyable, much better than anything the Super Bowl put out this year.
