A simple yet proud rancher in the year 1922 conspires to murder his wife for financial gain, convincing his teenage son to participate.

I really enjoyed this movie. I like the actor Thomas Jane. Apparently he enjoys Stephen King's work because he was also in The Mist and Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher = bad.

I basically liked 1922.. for me, it was slow in parts, but maintained an interesting tension.
I thought they did a good job creating a bleak mood, & representing that time frame..

1922 had the feeling of a Twilight Zone, or Tales From the Crypt episode.. the inner landscape of a guilty mind, etc. I actually think it may have been better served in that format (?).. 30-60 minute length.

All things considered, it was good. I appreciate Netflix getting in to the movie game.

I just read this Stephen King short story, of the same name, in the (4) short story collection: Full Dark No Stars. All four are top notch - imho, the best SK short story collection novel yet.

Don't watch it if you are prone to being despondent, lol.
