I find this statement true for Chinese movies. I prefer Korean movies over Chinese movies simply because I can actually read a dialogue better when watching a Korean movie.

Well now I see why Neflix kept this movie low-key. I made it through about the first third (maybe a little more) and turned it off with the thought that it is f'in stupid.

The movie was pretty standard Emmerich, Cameron, Bay material. That's an achievement for mainland China, but Americans seem tired of that sort of thing.
