Going to see this this afternoon. Has anyone seen it yet and how did it compare to the first one. We thoroughly enjoy the 1st one and the Robin Williams one for that matter.

Not as enjoyable as the first one, but still a fine popcorn flick.

I agree. The 1st one was much better but still a pretty decent movie. Looks like it opened itself up to a 3rd movie if you watch past the initial closing credits.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the first one. Then I ended up watching it with my family and we all had a good laugh. Much better than I thought, so I definitely want to see this one.

Just saw it last night.
As sequels go, I think it was really good. Meaning it wasn't as good as the first one, but still a fine movie. Some LOL moments. And it was different enough while still being familiar, so I would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the first one.

I wouldn't mind a 3rd one at all.

Oh, you mean it wasn't as good as the second one and you wouldn't mind a 4th one at all.

Why do we believe these days that we can make a movie of the same name that's already been made but completely divorce it from the original?

I saw both the 1st & 2nd in the theatres & I liked the 1st a little better. I'd see more sequels of this.
