The Father is considered a 2020 film.

It was included among the 2020 films for Academy Award nominations, and Anthony Hopkins won his second Best Actor Academy Award.

We stopped wasting our money at AMC but Nomadland was very entertaining, along with I CARE A LOT.

I CARE was frightening for us seniors, a complete stranger can have you committed and steal your life's savings.

I Care a lot is the only film on this list I’ve seen and it was nothing special.

It has been a poor Millenium for movies. Almost noting post 2005 is worth seeing.

I still watch some post 2005 movies here and there, but they are almost always mediocre to poor. Sure, there are some gems. A broken clock... a blind squirrel... and all that. Some good movies get through. Most movies since 2005 are trash or mediocre at best. There has been a 16 years drought.

Hollywood has completely lost its way. I doubt they will ever find their way back.

Kinda / sorta. You're right. Despite a few exceptions, the movies these days are mostly dreck.

But television is PURE GOLD now. Seriously. Who needs to go to the movies when there are so many great TV shows?

I think THE SOPRANOS was the watershed moment. Since then, all the talented writers are now working on TV shows. The hacks are still writing movies.
