I'm still at the "what, exactly, was done." stage. Watched half of it.

I didn't watch the 1st one and thought this was really good, well done

Janelle MonĂ¡e kills it in this movie, her performance surprised me.

Did you abandon it, or do you plan to finish it?

We watched it last night and thought it was a fun way to pass some time and relax after the stress of Christmas.

We also liked "Knives Out" and think Daniel Craig's foghorn leghorn accent was so funny.

Did get a useful bit of philosophy: "Just because someone said what was on their mind doesn't mean it's truth."

IMO, the original Knives Out was better, but then it had a better script and a better supporting cast. Still, this was worth watching.

@KnowledgeBuilder - good observation of Ed Norton's character.

The only other Janelle Monae movie role that I had seen prior to this movie was her in Hidden Figures. In that earlier movie, she could have been replaced with a poster-board image of herself and I'd be hard-pressed to notice the difference. In Glass Onion she absolutely shines, but you have to wait for it. She's been in three other movies between Hidden Figures and Glass Onion, I'll need to watch them to catch her progress as an actress.

This movie also had the best sneak-up cameos that I've seen in a while, keep an eye peeled for them.

I could do a search but I'll ask here: Is Knives Out currently streaming anywhere?

Yo-Yo Ma was in one scene. He even had lines!

The Zoom call or whatever it was was all famous people. Stephen Sondheim and others, I think.

The Jeremy Renner hot sauce was the best.
