I saw it at a Drive In theater on Cape Cod on vacation. Not sure how much time I spent in the ocean that year.

When I saw Jaws I was 9 months pregnant with my first child. I think the stress of that movie is what sent my blood pressure soaring and the next night I was in the hospital with preeclampsia.

I haven't been at ease in the ocean ever since and I grew up swimming in the Atlantic. I shudder to remember those college days when we would go swimming late at night after a few drinks.

These days, knee-level is as far out as I go.

I was way too young to have been watching it but I did and for a week I was nervous using the toilet in fear that the shark was there and bite me in the butt.

In high school, we used to party on the beach by Monterey, California. Sometimes we swam in the ocean. Luckily, we never had a problem with sharks.
