I did a search for this topic and couldn't find anything so I Figured I'd create this! What are some of your favorite sports movies of all-time? You can list it anyway you'd like... just a random list of sports movies or even your favorites from specific sports! Here are mine:

Football = Any Given Sunday, Remember the Titans, Rudy, The Blind Side...

Baseball = Major League, Bull Durham, A League of Their Own, Field of Dreams, The Sandlot...

Hockey = Slap Shot, The Mighty Ducks, Mystery Alaska, Miracle...

Basketball = White Men Can't Jump, Hoosiers, Space Jam, Blue Chips...

Golf = Caddyshack, Tin Cup, Happy Gilmore...

How about everyone else? Obviously there are more sports out there than the above.... Martial Arts, NASCAR, soccer, boxing... etc!

Mighty Ducks III for fictional hockey (it's the best HOCKEY movie of the three)
Miracle for historical hockey
Trouble With the Curve for baseball (Major League II is better than the original but it is parody)
Days of Thunder for NASCAR
Remember the Titans for Football

"Eight Men Out" was a terrific movie, not just a terrific sports film.

"Brian's Song" would be my top football movie.

I have no interest in hockey, but who can forget "Slap Shot" and the scene where the Hanson brothers first hit the ice?

I also no longer follow basketball, but among films which have had a basketball theme, "The Great Santini" stands out.

I'm mostly a baseball fan, so I'm more drawn to flicks set on the diamond. After "Eight Men Out" my list would go:

Bad News Bears (original)
Bang the Drum Slowly
A League of Their Own
Mr. Baseball

If OP psurangers11 does not object, might we also list what we thought were the worst sports movies ever?

I nominate the John Goodman "Babe" film featuring an actor who was even fatter than the real Babe Ruth and looked like he would have a heart attack if he tried to leg out a double.

The Sandler remake of "The Longest Yard" started out stupid, got stupider as it went along and had transcended the concept of stupidity by its conclusion.
