Who'd Be a Better Catwoman: Jolie or Fox?

July 28, 2008 12:37 PM
[mod cut]

Who would you rather see in a skintight catsuit: Angelina Jolie or Megan Fox?
It's a tough call. It's also a debate that's brewing as speculation over a sequel to "The Dark Knight" heats up.
The film's writers, Jonathan Nolan and David Goyer, said in a recent interview that they are, for now, not intending to bring back Catwoman, Batman's smoking-hot nemesis.

Well, I'm probably Angie's biggest fan, so I gotta say her. She plays evil so well too.

None of the above. Megan Fox is easy on the eyes, but she's too young for the role and ... well, let's just say she's "acting challenged." Jolie has already played roles like this (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Wanted, Tomb Raider).

I'm hoping they do the Catwoman with mob connections. So they should go with a sultry Italian actress.

ditto none of the above. Fox is so over-rated, just a cute face w/ limited range. and I'm sick of Jolie playing these tough girl roles.

this Batman franchise is much different from the ones in the past. Christian Bale and Heath Ledger were unlikely choices for their roles. they also are not big, major A-listers on the scale of Jolie (or Clooney, Nicholson, Carey, and some other Batman stars). before this movie, they're weren't known for big blockbusters hits (ie, like Transformers), mostly smaller movies and indie flicks. that seems to be the case w/ most of TDK cast, to a degree. the new Catwoman should be talented lessor known woman.

you know who would be kind of cool (even though I haven't seen her in other projects, and she may not fit the profile of Catwoman, whatever that is) is the girl from Sin City, the one that never talked, but stalked the roofs like a silent assassin. she was hot and cool

Someone who's done well in roles like this: either Jessica Alba (Dark Angel) or Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

gasp, not Jessica Alba!!! every movie this girl has starred in as flopped critically and/or financially, including the Fantastic 4 movies. the only good movie she's been in is Sin City, but she played a minor role, so the success of the movie can't be totally (if at all) attributed to her.

I love SMG, but she hasn't done a role like Buffy in years, didn't seem like she was willing to be typecasted into another tough girl role. but, after rewatching Cruel Intention this weekend, she can pull off the evil temptress

I think Giada De Laurentiis, from the Food Network, would make a good Catwoman.

Yikes I don't think they can make a mask to fit that big head of hers.
