I saw a screening of the movie Fireproof a few weeks ago. It opens in theaters Friday. Excellent movie! Take your spouse!

I did, we both enjoyed it. Our oldest daughter (age 26) also liked it very much.

Our agency (LEO) sponsered a private screening for all officers and firefighters in the community. Great response!!!

Went yesterday to see it. GOOD MOVIE! Real tearjerker. It IS a realistic movie. During the showing we were at when the older lady "Anna" was talking to "Katherine" at lunch one day and said something about "the other guy" not always being what they appear a lady in the theater said outloud, "AMEN!" and everyone busted up laughing.

He put on turnout gear that firefighters wear when responding to a call.
I never saw any parachute pants.

Correct. No "parachute pants" in the movie. And I know what they are as my husband owns a pair for his 80's costume.

As for the movie I saw this last night on the ABC news:

Made on a budget of $500K.
Kirk Cameron did NOT get paid for it.
Meals were provided by a local church group in Albany, GA where the film was set.
Made $6.5MILLION the first week
Only advertised thru Christian networks/media

WOW!!!!

Smile Fireproof - The Movie

My husband and I went to see it. It was a wonderful movie. The theater was packed. We actually sat in the first row. The crowd CLAPPED at the end and this is in Boca Raton, FL.

There are so many facets to the movie. Any relationship can suffer from the same. We have been there. Too much going on; too much work, kids, all the rest. You lose sight of each other.

I loved the way his dad stepped in, not all over him either. Just a kind suggestion here and there.

If we had more movies like this one, this world would be a better place.
There were kids walking out, hugging their parents. How many times do you see that?

We loved it. I told my husband we will buy tickets for anyone who wants to see it that can't.

Hats off to Kirk Cameron, the town of Albany, GA and the rest of the group!
Well done! It is on its second week here and had a lot of competition. Our theater has 20 movies at once.

I'm serious when I ask, were there any bananas in this movie?

Default Fireproof

Not only is it a great movie, it is a Must See movie.

My wife and I saw it last night (couple of hours ago).

It is the best movie I've seen in a while.

It shows how the lack of communication in a relationships can turn the world upside down.

It will tug at your heart strings.

Can't wait for it to come on DVD.
Then we can add it to our favorites like:

Pretty Woman
Officer and a Gentleman
Untamed Heart
