Iron Man, Dark Knight, Wall-E, Slumdog Millionaire, The Reader, Doubt, and Australia (I liked Australia!).
I was surprised with Wanted. I thought it was a great movie. 2008 was a lot better than 2007. 2009 is looking like a lackluster year for movies so far. If Warner Bros. had released Harry Potter in 2008 (instead of the new Summer 2009 release), then there would be no big blockbuster flicks (that I can think of) for 2009.

The Wrestler was the best film I saw released in 2008. Definitely not a movie for everyone though. The year as a whole was pretty weak in my opinion.

That could be why they moved Harry Potter to this summer. 2009 looks pretty decent, but more of the same (sequels and comic book movies). This year has G.I. Joe, Transformers 2, Terminator: Salvation, Night at the Museum 2, Pink Panther 2, Avatar, Ice Age 3, Watchmen, and a few others.
