I REALLY wish some channel would show the old movies again: giant ants, spiders, etc. - I know Chiller used to show some occasionally but I don't get that channel anymore (for some stupid reason it's bundled w/other channels and I had to try to trim my DTV bill as much as possible). SyFY (or however they spell it now) should have some of these on IMO instead of some of the stupid garbage and mostly air anymore.
For the old ones, tune in to Svengoolie every Saturday night. He shows 'em!

I didn't even know they had a Chiller station. DH and I got rid of cable in January, and it wasn't part of our lineup--probably premium, or Dish...When I was a kid, one of the local TV personalities also served as the local "horror host," and ours was Chiller Theater. That's where all those "B" sci-fi movies were shown.
Interestingly, we get Comet, an OTA channel, with just our indoor antenna. A couple of weeks ago, I saw The Blob, with Steve McQueen. I'd never seen that, and actually liked it lol--surprisingly good, for how old it was.

It used to be in the lineup on DTV - but as I said, they decided to bundle it w/other totally unrelated channels (I guess the owners) - I know those that had XFiniity (the only other option here - didn't have the choice) - much as I really liked that channel I can't/am not willing to pay so much more a month for the other garbage.
Never heard of Comet - I would have watched those movies!

https://www.comettv.com/ This broadcasts as a local sub-channel. If it's not in your area, you can watch it online.
I grew up in the Fifties/Sixties, so I saw and loved all of the giant monster films, many of which I was fortunate enough to see at the drive-in. Here are some that still remain among my favorite films and get watched sometimes several times a year. Them!
Rodan
Tarantula
Dinosaurus!
The Deadly Mantis
The Land Unknown
The Beast of Hollow Mountain
The Monster That Challenged the World
The Angry Red Planet ~ The gigantic batratspider has to be seen to fully appreciate the description!
The Beginning of the End ~ To an Illinoisan, giant grasshoppers rampaging across our state, with very recognizable locations is just very, very funny // "You can't drop an atom bomb on Chicago!" (delivered by Peter Graves' character)
I just watched 'Them!' for the umpteenth time last night, as it was airing on tv (turned the channel and there it was...so I had to watch it). I agree, this is one of the more awesome older monster flicks.
King Kong
Gojira
King Kong vs. Godzilla
Godzilla (2014)
Kong: Skull Island
