Good old-fashioned one where we can see Arnie being a really great bodybuilder. And the girl with him is very cute.
One of the first movies with Arnie.

Nope never saw it Flash.....as Conan was the first of his i saw and i still dig that flick second only to The Breakfast Club .
I never liked Tarkovsky. To me it's the quintessence of the bore. I hate when directors preach too much and try to оverintellectualize. Why do you like it?

Anyways on the whole this flick is pretty bad compare to other later Woody's works. Some jokes are really silly.
For example I like 'Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex But Were Afraid To Ask' MUCH better. Not to mention of course such mastepieces as 'Love And Death' and 'Annie Hall'
I agree! This is one of the funniest movies ever made to that point. I sometimes used it as a "psychological/potential friend" test, when I'd meet someone new I could figure pretty quickly if we might become friends based on their reaction:
It was a terrible, unfunny movie! "Check please", not going to be friends.
It was a classic, one of the funniest ever made, I hope the Coens make some more comedies. "Can I buy you a drink, spend the night at your place".
Debb J, I like your list, but reading it I really hope that you're young and haven't seen too many "older" movies. This is not meant as an insult because everyone's "favorites" are just that, THEIR FAVORITES. I hope after you've seen a lot more movies that your list will expand.
However, it is really nice to see anyone, especially a young lady with such a diverse genre on her top ten list.
Some recommendations that I think you might like based upon your list. I'm not nearly as good as the computer at Netflix, but I'm good at this.

"A Very Long Engagement", at least a tie with "The Notebook"

I never liked most of Spielberg's movies. They are too commercial.
