I fell and hurt myself in the tub, so I'm having a movie fest tonight. I just took a break to check my e-mail. (You should see the bruises on my right arm and shoulder - colorful, to say the least!)
I first watched Left Behind, with Nicholas Cage. I've seen it before and it's okay. I think 'they' (Director and producer(s)) could have done a much better job with the subject material. It really doesn't matter whether one is (as far as beliefs go) pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib or no trib; it's a sobering subject for any believer, I think. Nicholas cage gives a credible performance.
I then watched The Imitation Game. I always feel a sense of incredulity after watching that movie because the layers of lies that are fed to the masses, most of whom swallow them without a second thought, are nothing less than horrific.
What was done to Alan Turing (may he rest in peace) just... breaks my heart.
I'm off to watch Brad Pitt now, first in Legends of the Fall, and after that, if I have time before DH comes home, I'll watch Spy Game (with Brad, and Bob Redford).
I find I like Brad Pitt now - didn't used to. I think we've probably both just matured.
The "Angels' Share", filmed in Scotland. Even though it's an English language film, some of the actors Glaswegian accents are so pronounced that subtitles were included. Great movie.
Casino Royale (2006) I thought it was good but it was pretty slow in my opinion. I hear the next two Daniel Craig Bonds get better and better though.
