No more drive-ins in my city, bummer. I think the very last one that tried to hang on closed maybe 2 years ago. The one from my hometown closed years ago which was really hard to see...I had seen my first film there...Bambi. Of course, it's now a running joke in my family that my screaming was heard loud & clear thru the whole town when the mother was shot...stupid Disney movies...why do they always do that?????
No, there aren't any drive-in movie theaters in Burnsville. I don't even think there are any in the entire Twin Cities; I could be wrong though. I've never been to a drive-in theater before, nor have I seen one in person. I would rather watch a movie indoors anyway.
There in my city the last drive-in closed 10 years ago.
News, Will the endangered American drive-in fade to black?

We do have one about 7 miles south of our town in Walla Walla, WA just south of the Washington/Oregon border, I don't understand why the drive in theaters are declining

1) Try finding a place where it is dark enough to actually see the movie. The places that we used to go to are now built up all around.
2) The land is getting more expensive. So many theatres have been converted to other purposes.
