Your argument is still not clear.

I didn't enjoy Moon. I thought I would, but I had figured out the secret about 15 minutes in and spent the rest of the time trying to stay awake as the movie muddled through to the "big reveal."

Also, the computer's complicity bothered me. The movie could've been much darker and more intense than it was, IMO.

I think I read a short story of the same nature years ago, and that's probably what wrecked it for me. Knowing the premise, Moon doesn't have much beyond that.

You didn't figure out every part of it. Besides, at least Moon doesn't use a cheap gimmick to free itself of accountability.

Yeah clones (Moon spoiler) are less of a gimmick than a split personality (FC spoiler).

The spoilers are in white, BTW.

Moon was an homage to sci-fi movies in general. Fight Club was an homage to nihilism and cheap gimmicks.

Fortunately for you, you have the right to be wrong. FC was not an homage to nihlism, in fact, if you really watch the movie you will see that it is against it.

Moon is clearly the superior film. FC is the sort of film intended for people who want to think they're being smart for watching something that differs by half a degree from the mainstream. So it's anti-establishment -- whoopdeedo....a film can be anti-establishment without cheap plot gimmicks.

Seems like Fight Club would be the movie for you. Talk about being pretentious...

I did not care for Fight Club, so I don't know why it would be the movie for me.

Based on your posts, you seem like a pretentious person. You said FC was pretentious. Therefore, it seems like you should like it.
