Ray Kelley Band : Morning
I found this music by chance while trying to find video footage of the Conservatory at the Bellagio (Las Vegas).
Wow...I love the full sounds and melodic accents...and how it makes me feel like I'm floating. It reminds me of that fantastical place you find yourself in dreamland...where everything is enchanted and untarnished by reality.
Enchantment! A lost Art of feeling, in this age of science, that you so beautifully expressed... The willingness at any moment to be enchanted and unafraid to experience its special glow...
Nicely said Knightshadow. And the following song reminds me of the passion that drives us to find those dreams.... I love the cello and string instruments.
"I need another story
Something to get off my chest
My life gets kind of boring
Need something that i can confess
Till all my sleeves are stained red
From all the truth that I've said
Come by it honestly I swear
Thought you saw me wink, no, I've been on the brink, so"
"Like the musician, the painter, the poet, and the rest, the true lover of flowers is born not made. And he is born to happiness not this vale of tears, to a certain amount of the the purest joy that earth can give her children, joy that is tranquil, innocent, uplifting, unfailing. Given a little patch of ground, with time to take care of it, with tools to work it and seeeds to plant in it, he has all he needs."
I awoke thinking of this song...oh don't you just love the rain?
Mum used to let us play out in it. I think...she understood it's deeper meaning.
Once in rainy San Francisco, when the whole town was asleep, I creeped out and danced
into the streets...
Today...
It's supposed to rain. And I welcome it.
..."and it feels like rain, and it feels like rain *baby can you feel it*..."
