Twenty years ago today Freddie Mercury passed away from AIDS. Seeing Queen in 1982 was probably the best concert I've ever been to.

I wonder with all the medical advances if he wouldn't have died had he contracted the disease today.

Freddie Mercury may not have contracted the disease at all, given how much more information & HIV/AIDS awareness there is in 2011.
