I often wonder who has the ultimate voice in American music?

Someone with the absolute best singing voice ever.

Pretty sure I am missing someone but a quick list of mine would be.

Peter Cetera
Steve Perry
Celine Dion
Whitney Houston
Reba McIntire
Michael McDonald

I am sure most of you can make an awesome list of great voices in music.

Seger is a GREAT vote. I LOVE Turn the Page...and of course, Night Moves.

As to the OP's list....Celine Dion....are you SERIOUS???? The "greatest American voice"????? And not just because she's Canadian....

In the early 70's someone asked Elvis that very question. Without hesitation he replied "Roy Orbison."

But Swedes got it as well. What a great voice Elvis had!

Great thread BTW SunnyDays90! Will come up with a few others later.

BTW, Bob is 65 now if you were wondering. You can't be the voice since the 60's without Father Time catching up with you! LOL
