I am sure Jack White (and maybe Meg, too) will return in some other form of incarnation, but The White Stripes are now no more.

I'm glad I had the chance to seem them live at Red Rocks.

Jack White is already in The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather. He has also been doing numerous colabs in the alt-country field as well. He's not going anywhere.

I was hearing a rumor that The White Stripes were supposed to reunite this summer for a tour. I guess that's not happening

For all the noise you hear, more deservedly than not proclaiming the death of good rock 'n roll, Jack White is living proof that the inclination is alive and well. He would have been a heavyweight in any era.

Pretty much. The Stripes were always a showcase for Jack's talent. Still one of the best concerts I saw. Hope to see more stuff from the Raconteurs, but I won't be surprised if Jack takes a step back and focuses on producing for awhile.

Yes, at the concert I saw, some of the Raconteur guys were playing.
And I liked the first Dead Weather album, the latest one not so much.
But the main thing is that White keeps his hand in the music business, which I am sure he will do.

I love the album he did with Loretta Lynn.
And there is also this:

Probably not.
But maybe you'll see him in some other band.

I'm a much bigger fan of the Raconteurs then the White Stripes, but It's still a shame to hear they're going away.

Jack White is an amazing talent
