I heard a song over a grocery store intercom over the weekend. They were playing one of those satellite radio stations as most store do.
I heard this one country song, sung by a girl, and it almost sounded like Patty Loveless, but a little younger. I don't think its too old of a song - just made to sound that way. I've already gone thru the lyric websites to try and find it, but no luck.
The lyrics go like "Tonight I'll be looking for a true love" and she says "blue eyes" a few times during the song also. She talks about her lover cheating on her and how she'll be going out to find someone else.
Its kind of twangy sounding with the slide/steel guitar sound to it.

Mickey, please be patient with us. I just did a Google-search and came up with similar lyrics. I'm assuming that you're looking for a modern artist for this, and the lyrics in the following selection mostly match up with what you may be looking for. See if it's this one:
Need a little more info. Was it sung by a male or female or group? Do you remember a bit of the lyrics? New country or old country song? That would help.
It was by a guy and not sure it was my first time hearing it it's called room something like room 118 or something like that and it talks about like a guy and a girl going to have sex for the first time and it's seen drug deals and prostitution nd killings and stuff like that it's a country song
This must be new country (vs. old country). Not having much luck finding it. I rarely listen to new country. I'm a classic country kind of person. If I find it, I'll let you know, though. Sorry.
