Must say that no song makes me cry but some songs are giving nice emotional feeling when all comes together.
Meaning that when song is nice,lyrics are telling some small story (Not just "Baby baby, uuh aah,baby be my baby"), singer/players are great and possible video is made so that it fits to the song.
When all these elements are done well, then music genre is not big issue.
Good music is healthy for humans soul.
