When I think of '60's rock, I think of San Francisco and the Bay Area.. And I think of the Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, Steve Miller Band, Country Joe and the Fish, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Blue Cheer, Hot Tuna, Boz Scaggs, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Flaming Groovies, Beau Brummels, Sons Of Champlin, Chocolate Watchband, Sly and the Family Stone, Tracie Nelson and Mother Earth, It's A Beautiful day, and a lot of other smaller bands such as Cold Blood, Syndicate Of Sound, Count Five, Charlatans, Lamb, Other Half, and the Loading Zone. And there are lots of others of course that are 70's and 80's bands.
