I love not only the song, but also the sound, same year as Thriller if I am not mistaken. There is a kind of subbass on that song that I don't even hear on my speakers, only on my headphones. I would love to hear that song on huge speakers with subwoofer
I remember I had that album on cassette Need I mention I did not hear the subbass on my portable, 2x5W or so stereo back in the early 80s?
What a loss this man was for music! He was a delightful entertainer with simply wonderful and sometimes unique interpretations. I've been listening to him a lot lately since happening onto him. I love the bits of film with him, as he is charming, delightful and very funny at times.
