Sayaka Shoji performs the Brahms violin concerto. It takes a few listens to appreciate, like any great art work. There are multiple themes which I will address later, but the overarching and dominant is the beauty of the maternal that Brahms clearly sought to express. Sayaka Shoji presents the embodiment of it.
