What do you consider to be the most underrated/overlooked Black Sabbath song of the 1970's?

My vote would be "Thrill Of It All" off of the Sabotage album

Very difficult question to answer. Back when this was new 8 tracks were the choice for mobile music. When you plugged that chunk of plastic into the dashboard you pretty much listened from beginning to end. To me there were no underrated/overlooked songs. But in the spirit of the question I chose this song

That whole album is great and might be my favorite Sabbath record.

If I had to pick I'd have to break things up by era.

In the Ozzy era I'd have to go with something off Never Say Die or Technical Ecstasy as those two albums are pretty much forgotten and their first six are pretty much universally known as masterpieces. For me the best "unknown" songs from those two albums are Drity Women and Shockwave.

For the Dio era I'd have to go with Sign of the Southern Cross from the Mob Rules Album. Everyone knows the title track from that one and Heaven and Hell was (and still is) a pretty popular record.

For post Dio/Ozzy Sabbath things get tougher. I'm not overly familiar with a lot of the stuff but I always liked the song Headless Cross.

I would say Changes. I mean everyone points to Supernaut, Black Sabbath, Iron Man, War Pigs and Paranoid but Changes was one of the their best songs artistically. Most metalheads look down on that song.

"Sabbra Cadabra" off Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. A heavy metal love song for the ages that doesn't get the respect it deserves. It's not a love song to play at a wedding, but it's fun while still being heavy.

Truthfully there aren't many 70's overlooked songs by fans.

This one is newer and fans with every album don't have it, much less know it exists.

'98 I believe.....

#1 most overlooked.
