Howlin Wind was an unabashed classic and 'Love Without Greed' from Bruce Springsteen's contributed album 'Up The Escalator' is perhaps a perfect epithet for our times. However Graham Parker remains an under-appreciated genius despite 3 albums of sheer musical genius including 'Heat Treatment' as well but 'You Can't Be Too Strong' is perhaps the best place to start for newcomers, from 'Squeezing Out The Sparks' one of the greatest albums of all time. By some distance.
