Finally checking out the new Laura Marling album. It's very impressive so far, though I still feel more admiration for her work than actual love for it. It's not quite my thing, but she doesn't it so well I find myself wishing it were. However, "Gurdjieff's Daughter" is a real stand-out. Her phrasing is really exceptional there, for one thing, though there are other things going on that I can't name at least for now.
This song made ME sick. There was nothing remotely good about it.
