the Doobie Brothers final tour (later on there were others) 1982 Saratoga NY (SPAC) great venue.

I thought it was great, but my brother thought they played like they had somewhere to be.

Saw Frank Zappa at the UC field house in early 1980, first Cincinnati concert after the Who tragedy. The police were making a big to do on the TV news that they would be cracking down, there were people selling joints in the bathroom 3 for a dollar and a big haze of pot smoke in the building.

AC / DC at Madison Square Garden in 1981.

My first concert was supposed to be Tony Orlando sometime in the late 70's, but he cancelled the show we had tickets to due to the suicide of his close friend, Freddie Prinze.

The Grateful Dead. I was 13 when they came to a county airport just 3 miles from my house. And a mere 2 months later Jerry died.
