Talent is not dead in fact there may be more talent and quality music than ever before. The problem is with "people" and what is popular. I watch a ton of live music every year and we have great talent that passes through the local music festivals here in the mountains of Utah.

the music business is a business, someone once said show business should be called busines show.Music tv shows and movies are products that are made to make money, whether they are artistically good or not does enter into the formula.just look at the endless train of boy bands in the last few decades.Technology also makes it easy to be lazy,no need to make perfect takes, everything comes out clean and shiny in post production, use the first line from take one, second line from take 4 and so on.Photography is the same ,in the old days I would be very careful you only had 36 frames and every click of the shutter counted, now I just point and shoot, I can take 50 photos where before with film I took at most a few, a few clicks of the mouse in photoshop and every pix is perfect.
I like everything that comes out on the Aquatic Underwear label.
