Seeing a lot of interesting-looking music I missed, on end of year lists (especially the ones that go beyond the most popular handful of genres). Somehow it seems like more of it than usual.
I've been seeing the name, but I'm not into country, so I haven't paid much attention. But after hearing this song (and now, a bit more), I have to say she is a very strong lyricist, with a solid voice to match. This song seems pretty undeniable.
