I guess one could choose any Bob Dylan song ,my is All Along the Watch Tower.My favorite is Dave Mason but there are so many that do it well it's almost impossible to pick one.

I hadn't know until a few years ago that Dolly Pardon wrote and sang "I Will Always Love You." It became a completely different (and much better) song when Whitney sang it.

LOL, I agree. It was the ending theme song to her TV show back in the 70's.
