A guy I worked with back in '67 had one in his car - don't remember it ever skipping. But in order to accomplish that, the stylus pressure would have had to be major. Record wear was always an issue back in those days, and those car players probably were very hard on them. Still, so cool to be able to take your music with you in the car. And back then, that's all there was.

This was one of the records he played a lot - another good driving song.
This song come on random this morning on the way to work, and again on the way home. I cranked it both times. I had not heard it in a while, and what an awesome song to drive to. I miss the system I had in my 300. The Ram 1500 just makes it more difficult and expensive to get great sound.
