I remember her. She was not as popular in the US as she was in Britain mainly because America had lost interest in that sort of poppy hard rock at that time- KISS being the exception but they had the makeup and theatrics.
Top 40 was all easy listening, disco and country-rock like the Eagles, and the FM stations were more into heavy and prog.
