Metallica performed their first concert ever with a gig at Radio City in Anaheim, California. The band consisted of founders Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield, along with Dave Mustaine on guitar and Ron McGovney on bass. There were approximately 200 people in attendance and the band's nine song set only had two original songs in it.
