From a forthcoming album this big name (but definitely not pop) project has put together.
The albums is out. I have to say, I am a bit disappointed, and if anything like this clip less in the context of the whole album. Vijay Iyer in particular just bores me. I don't listen to a lot of Pakistani or Inidan music, so the vocals aren't exactly my usual fare. They are good, and maybe if I listened to more of this sort of thing I would consider them great, but they aren't quite enough to carry it for me. I find myself losing patience with the accompaniment, again with the emphasis on Iyer's noodling.
