I'll try to stick too, What I consider as being.."The Hits"!, Otherwise, This could become a very long list indeed?
Number Of The Beast
Hallowed Be Thy Name
The Trooper
Aces High
Powerslave
Heaven Can Wait
The Evil That Men Do
The Clairvoyant
Bring Your Daughter, To the Slaughter
Fear Of The Dark
The Wicker Man
The list could include just about every song they have done.
My two favourite albums are Killers and Piece Of Mind and I think you should by both of them.
Also if you could find the lp version of Live After Death, which have more songs than the cd.
It includes just about all their hits up until 1985.

I would add the entire Number of the Beast album to BigSwede's list.
Also, you can't go wrong with the entire Powerslave album.
Can somebody recommend a few Iron Maiden songs, besides 2 Minutes or Run to the Hills? Thanks.

Fear of the Dark (1993 live version)
Rime of the Ancient Mariner

Speaking of Can I Play With Madness, I don't know why previous posters disn't mention this one. Great tune -- better than their two big hits. Heaven Can Wait and Hallowed Be Thy Name are good too.

I don't like "Can I Play With Madness", I know they had a fairly successfull video clip for it, But I think it's the second worst song, On Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, "The Prophecy" is probably the worst?
I also like the song Iron Maiden. It's a nice little rock number in a major key.
