I fell into a burnin' ring of fire Went down, down, down and the flames went higher And it burns, burns, burns Ring of fire, ring of fire.
Quoting those lyrics (all of them are amazing) remind me of June and John and their start together. Wrong as it was, they were married a long time and loved until their deaths. Some would say they have to be, "burnin" but I wonder...
Also, his rendition of Hurt (and pain in delivery) is whoa-deep! I get it Johnny!
I'll also add Pink Floyd's, Wish You Were Here-tube 'em they are great!

I am woman, hear me roar
In numbers too big to ignore
And I know too much to go back an' pretend
'cause I've heard it all before
And I've been down there on the floor
No one's ever gonna keep me down again
L.A's fine, the sun shines most the time,
and the feeling is lay back.
Palm trees grow, the rents are low,
but you know I keep thinkin' 'bout, making my way back.
Well I'm New York City born and raised, but nowadays,
I find myself lost between two shores.
And I'm not a man who likes to swear,
but I never cared for the sound of being alone...

I am, I said, to no one there...
Nice to see a Neil Diamond lyric. Did he write that one?
How about...
Love on the rocks Ain't no surprise Poor me a drink and I'll tell you some lies...
Yesterday's gone, now all I want is a smile.

Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence
Oh what a beautiful morning! Oh what a beautiful day. I have a beautiful feeling, everything's going my way.
Also...
Who do, who do ya think you're foolin'
Love me like a rock.
