I just discovered Shirley Bassey... (classic, albums, vinyl, song)

Only knew her from the James Bond title songs, but after stumbling upon the numerous YouTube clips of her, I have to say that I love this performer! She's awesome!

None taken. It was more to show how great she looks at 70!

It's really the clips of her in concert that tell the story. I just think she's awesome.

Dame Shirley Bassey is simply divine! My grandmother has been a huge fan of hers since Goldfinger - 44 years! I have loved her big voice, personality, and gorgeous persona for 25 years (plus Goldfinger is my fav James Bond song of all time)! Long live Dame Shirley! I love all of her YouTube performances as well!

She's a wonderful songer, I've always felt it a shame so many heard GoldFinger, thought her a one hit wonder, and never her anything else.

I've been without a turntable for a while and unable to play the vinyl but thise will change

Shirley's voice is just so damn powerful and she knows exactly what to do with it. She's unmistakeably classic! Love that vid for History Repeating, Linc!

SP is right. Speaking of vinyl on Shirley Bassey, she is one prolific lady to say the least. She has released over thirty albums out since her initial album came out on the Epic label from 1960.
