Strange thing is I've seen bar bands that actually go out there and play 80s pop tunes...not quite fitting for the look of some bands

Even in the privacy of my own basement you won't hear me playing any of that stuff...sorry but it can lead to 'other things'

Dont say that about Carly. Barbara Stresand you can drop a grenade in her pocket for all I care. If you really dont like Carly Simon you are all alone. And that coming from some one like yourself who can sing is very surprising.

I didn't say I could sing...well maybe a little but I'm mainly an instrumentalist.
I dunno,Carly never really sounded that good to me. She always sounded kinda warbly...just my opinion.

I played guitar for 5 years in my late teens, ultimately abandoning it (my fingers are double-jointed, which made bar chords impossible and playing in general rather painful).

I've since taken up bass thanks to Guitar Hero. And yes-I ROCK.

BlackZappa 301! Thanks for updating the thread!

I make noise on the 6 string and banjo. And I mean noise, but I enjoy it! Not any good, but one of these days I'll do the lessons thing! I certainly have the time to pursue it.

I was forced (it was a school requirement) to play the Recorder in the 3rd, 6th, & 9th grades. I never understood how to play but I did just enough to get a passing grade.
