I'm not sure why all the album covers etc. are shown. The original video had Gerry playing in the studio.
I like Gerry Rafferty's soothing voice. Also, I find his ability to tell real life stories about real people, and their struggles and strengths, in his music.

You are the second reason I made the account. Of course Mr. MMC and his wonderful heart and imagination were the real draw.
(I've been like RareWonder and was one of the lurkers who would Rep you fine people. But the 60s just got me and, Mr. MMC, You seem such a lovin man, that I just couldn't take it no more!)
