I was in a recent trip in Israel. So one day when I felt like staying in my hotel room, I got to watch some international channels, boring programming for the most part. Well there was an MTV channel and all they play were music videos. Some good songs and videos too. So I was entertain the whole day. Yeah the basic pop, rock and dance hits, but I guess usually from the UK and the USA. But what happen in the USA? What happened to MTV? Is there another cable music channel out there now?
No there are no more music channels, just wrap crap.
Even VH1 has bit the dust, just ain't more more music being produced anymore. But I know in my heart that a music history channel that played all old videos of real music and old concert footage would be a massive hit. But since I dont have the money to make ths show I guess we are all out of luck.
On Saturday mornings there is a show called Private Sessions with this smoken hot host interviews musicians. Just this weekend she hosted Dennis DeYoung from Styx. They throw in some concert footage, a few live songs and some good ol memories talking.
