I love a manikin, should I be panickin'?
I don't know what's happenin', but I love her
I'm taking her home
Everyday I see her, when I'm riding to work
Look in the window, just a little shirt and short skirt
Her eyes follow me, where ever I go
And she's always in some brand new clothes, and a new pose...
Tonight's the night, I'm gonna get her
I can't even take it anymore, when I see her, I start to shiver
Lip quiver, with the butterfly stomach
Leave the truck going, I'm gonna just grab her and start running...
She's not real, but I feel
like I need her in my arms tonight...
I'm taking her home.
Kaw-Liga was a wooden Indian, standing by the door
Fell in love with an Indian maid over in the antique store
Kaw-Liga, oh
Just stood there and never let it show
So she could never answer yes or no
I gotta hot-rod Ford
And a two dollar bill
And I know a spot right over the hill
There's soda-pop and the dancin's free
So if ya wanna have fun, come along with me
Took a corner, sideswiped a truck, crossed my fingers just for luck
My fenders was clicking the guard rail posts, the guy beside me was white as a ghost.
They made up their minds
So they started packing
They left before the sun came up that day
They just drove off and left it all behind them
But where were they going with out ever knowing the way
Breakneck speed, feel the violent spinal crackin'
Back down to the chrome, and feel the death wish attackin'
Hubcaps on your eyes, cannot sympathize
A fist full of hair and a splinter in the mind...
Nobody gonna take my head, I got a speed inside my brain
Nobody gonna steal my head, now that I'm on the road again
Oooh I'm in heaven again, I've got everything
Like a moving ground, an open road and everything
