We all have our favorite genres, but if you're like me, there are many times you'll hear something that you never would have bought, that you never would have gone out of your way to listen to and thought, 'Hey, I like that!'
Post a link for one of those tunes; and/or if you see someone post a link to a song that surprised them in a good way, you can post a song by that same performer as to say, If you like that, then I'll bet you like this one too...
I'm usually not too big on Hip-Hop, and to be honest I've never listened to an entire album by this guy, but I have heard a few that I've really liked.
I'm not a fan of Country Music at all, but I once saw Brad Paisley on Austin City Limits and was really blown away. I would not buy his albums, but I'd definitely go see him live (if only I could talk a friend into going with me...)

I'm not big on Country either. Don't know Brad Paisley's music either, but I've heard the name. Got a link? Hip us.
No links, but back in the 60's, I was definatly a folk and folk / rock afficianado. A friend introduced me to a group out of Chicago called Rotary Connection. . . much more loud and hard driving than the things I normally listened to, but I love it. . . still have the vinyl, by the way.
Great stuff Mr. Opinion. I especially like Steely Dan. That song you linked is a nice, jazzy rock thing. You might like this one, too. If you really do or really don't let me know.
