I read the entire JM interview on Playboy.com. JM said some really crazy things like he would rather masturbate than to be with a woman. That alone is CRAZY!

Nothing is better than the real thing John!!
This whole controversy just proves what I've suspected for years about John Mayer - that behind the fake facade of his romantic songs is a narcissistic misogynistic douchebag.
Something is seriously wrong with JM. He just wants to have sex with women. He doesn't want any long term relationships. He said that he could make a woman climax 6 times and he would wake up and make breakfeast for her in the morning. Yet he insist that women always want to be commited aftewards!
When stuff like this happens it isn't a slip, so I quite honestly could care less... I just wish the people who feel the need "be honest" would just come out from behind curtain and be that way 24/7. JM got comfortable enough with his celebrity status, rubbed elbow with a few celebrity "brothas" and felt it's safe for him to say what he said.
i heard he wanted to direct porn now.......i think he just wants to cause an uproar.thats what everyone in the music biz does now.they try to out weird each other to rediculous point.
britney shaves her head>amy winehouse does cocaine while diagnosed with emphyziema>lady gaga becomes freak of the year>JM insults black people.
Check out this article from 2001. Here's an excerpt from it:
John Mayer is the antithesis of your everyday average wannabe pop/rock star. He doesn't smoke, drink or do drugs. There aren't any tattoos or noticeable piercings on his body, and he loves his parents. When he sits down for an interview in a Buckhead coffee shop, he orders a glass of milk.
"I don't have many values," he says, concerning his temperance, "but that's a value."
How did John Mayer go from that to the stupid things he said in that "Playboy" interview?
