Rap is a predominantly white genre, whites consume more hip hop than blacks. Eminem said it himself that his success is due to him being white.
Yes he is good, I think he is overrated when people say that he is the ONLY lyrical rapper.

I'm not into rap or hip hop. Don't listen to that much music honestly. I really liked 8 mile though and since that was his own vision and it took some guts and trust of his instincts to push it through I respect that regardless. I have seen him in some interviews and he seems and talks smart enough, like he's got real thoughts and opinions and feelings and is pretty good about expressing them.
Eminem is NOT the only lyrical rapper in the world!
Neither is he the BEST rapper in the world, so stop making him the god of hip hop!
I can name 20 to 30 rappers who are as good as him and better.
He is NOT the best freestyler in the world! He is one of the best but not THE best.
He is NOT the best battle rapper in the world, I know he won the battle olympics but he is ONE of the best, not the best.
He is among my favorite rappers to listen to but please stop this madness.

ok well you know that is only your opion, some of us may think that he is the best but that should not matter to any one about any one's opion of EMINEM being the best, personaly i think that he is, i think that he speaks the truth in alot of his raps/songs...he can touch bases that other rappers dont, but that is my opion, not trying to get a war started here but this is my opion,,i love eminem and that is me if you dont that is you, this is knid of like saying that elvis should not be the king of whatever kind of music that he use to sing, or that michael jackson was not the best at what he does, personaly i do not like this two at all, but some might, but that is their opion..thanks
I like Eminem, I think he is talented, I have some of his albums....all that jazz. But I get the impression that he just tries to hard. I always have.
