I am from the Northeast and am really sick of the cold winters. I am really interested in moving to coastal North or South Carolina or Virginia.
I've been an attorney for 14 years and have just recently obtained my real estate broker's license. I am trying to figure out how the job market is in the coastline in VA, NC and SC, and whether I'd be able to find work in my field?
The job market is fine near Myrtle Beach for Realtors, you can sign up with many different companies. I suggest going with someone that offers a lot of training. The market on the other hand is tough like it is probably everywhere, especially if you are new to an area. This does not mean you can't do well but it may take awhile.
The good thing is this is a vacation, retirement area in addition to a lot of people moving here from the NE and other parts of the country.
