For anyone moving to Myrtle Beach, SC, this is a warning against using Two Men and a Truck on Waccamaw Blvd in Myrtle Beach. Though they sing a sweet song to get you hooked in, they do not stand behind their pricing nor their work. They managed to damage EVERY SINGLE piece of furniture we have (while the items I packed myself were fine), including those items they claimed to know how to pack (like a Sleep Number bed). They, of course, would take no responsibility for any of it - saying they had no way of knowing what happened. (Forgive my assumption of professionalism.)

Communication is HORRID - I never could get the owner (who gave the estimate) to call me back to answer questions, the woman in the office was rude and unhelpful, and I ended up with several surprises the day of the move.

On the light side, the guys who actually packed the truck were on time and respectful (if not actually competent).

Find somebody else --- neighborhood kids would have done at least as good a job, and been less expensive!

They are listed on the Better Business Bureau. If you can't get help with the company, go to the BBB website and file a complaint. You might get your problems resolved.

We used Two Men and a Truck when we moved in MB and they were awful then too. We filed a complaint with the BBB and never heard back. The owner/manager was very rude and hard to work with. The movers themselves took over 45 minutes of smoke breaks while moving our stuff out and into the truck, and they damaged our furniture as well as the walls and floor of our brand new house. The OP is right, steer clear!
