A friend of mine is considering moving here and open to the whole county area. He is a commercial fisherman and has his own vessel or commercial fishing boat. I don't know anything about that business, so I'm not sure what to ask. I guess some questions would be; what does the state require to have that business here? Is it hard to start up in this area? What is the best catch or catches? In NJ where he lives now they have co-ops, is it different here? How does it work? My guess is this would be Little River or Murrells Inlet area, is that correct?
I'm sure there is a lot more info. needed and maybe there's a site with good info. someone here is aware of? Thanks for any and all info. provided.
Hey Rapture, what about talking to the local restaurant owners and people who are on the receiving end to see what they know? Maybe they can give you some contact info. The Murrells Inlet people come to mind there on restaurant row.
