My family and I are planning a move from Lexington county to Myrtle Beach, and I would like some insights on how life is there: are there plenty of jobs, lots of things to do, does it have good schools, how crowded does it get there, etc. etc. etc.?
It's OK here in Lexington, but jobs are few and far between, there isn't much to do, and we miss being near the ocean.
In comparison to rural Lexington county, how does Myrtle Beach measure up? Is it like two different worlds?
Thanks for any help you may offer!
Plenty of jobs: Not so much (though more than MI where I'm stuck). Plenty to do: Oh yes, there's plenty of that. I'm not a resident (yet) but I know it does get pretty crowded during summer months. Maybe one of the locals will chime in to help you a little more.
